Management Information System (MIS) Engineer (Software)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• To create software applications based on the specifications provided by supervisors or end users.
• To adapt and enhance the developed software as per the evolving needs of end users.
• To provide training to end users on the functionality of the developed software applications.
• To update and customize external third-party software applications according to specified requirements.
• To aid in the integration of different software systems to establish a cohesive Management Information System.
• To undertake any additional functional responsibilities assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related computer study discipline.
• At least 2 years relevant experience within a development environment.
• A minimum 2 years programming experience, relevant to the following skill sets:
  • Apache, Java (J2EE/JEE), JavaBean, PHP, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, VB
  • Proficiency in MySQL, MSSQL, or other relational databases
  • Competence in Crystal Report
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux
