Senior AP Analyst – RM8K to RM10K

  • Salary RM8,000-RM10,000

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

  • Provide global support across multiple regions, including China, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and the US.
  • Support projects and coordinate with global stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and participate in group meetings, presentations, and discussions to help resolve ongoing issues and move projects forward.
  • Serve as second-line support for P2P issue resolution (primarily involving suppliers, internal stakeholders, the helpdesk, and the AP team), while identifying key roadblocks and helping to eliminate them to prevent future occurrences.
  • Resolve complex issues by coordinating with relevant teams to ensure permanent solutions, and educate users or direct them to appropriate training to address identified knowledge gaps.
  • Communicate with suppliers and provide guidance on how to transact effectively with the organization, helping to avoid rejected invoices or delayed payments.
  • Work with other teams within the Buying Channel Support function (e.g., Stakeholder Management & Training, Communication Manager, PO Requestors/Budget Holders, Supplier Enablement) to help prevent recurring issues.
  • Support the implementation of changes as needed to drive compliance and enhance user experience.
  • Achieve assigned objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Analyze current processes and workflows, recommending and applying lean methodologies in daily work to eliminate waste and improve productivity.

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable with deep process knowledge.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using Purchase-to-Pay platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Solid understanding of the 3-way matching process for invoices, purchase requisitions/orders, and goods receipt.
  • Familiarity with basic tax regulations is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Prior experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or an internationally structured organization.
  • Language requirements:
    • Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin (To support China) and English.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality service, and also able to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, accuracy, assertiveness, and a proactive approach to issue investigation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or Power Automate is an advantage.
