Sales Engineer (Insulation Materials)

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Manage relationships with both local and international customers.
• Develop and execute new business strategies to drive growth.
• Identify and follow up on new business opportunities, including arranging meetings.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Expand customer base within the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new potential products and opportunities.
• Promote existing and new products to both existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct market research and report on competitors’ activities, pricing, and market share.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments within credit terms.
• Prepare and submit regular visit and activity reports.
• Support and participate in trade exhibitions and company events.
• Implement initiatives arising from strategic meetings.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Support feasibility studies and assist in planning investment and growth strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience in selling industrial products such as foam, insulation, building materials, or technical solutions is an advantage.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle local and overseas customers.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel for customer visits, meetings, and trade exhibitions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Basic understanding of credit control and customer payment follow-up.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
