Head of Procurement (MNC)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Establish, lead, and optimize a high-performing Procurement organization across the countries
• Enhance the skills and performance of staff members through coaching, training, and personal development initiatives.
• Enhance Procurement’s involvement and integration across all aspects of the business.
• Develop appropriate Procurement strategies & targets.
• Ensure maximum utilization and accurate reporting of all supplier-related savings within the country.
• Identify strategies to enhance performance.
• Implement and maintain Global Procurement standards and policies across the cluster countries.
• Achieve procurement savings targets and other defined KPIs.
• Resolve conflicts and establish agreed-upon priorities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Ethical Purchasing Policy.
• Local government agencies and authorities for purchase licenses, import, export documentations, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Business
• 7-8 years of team management experience within Procurement or similar function
• Applicant with knowledge of import and export procedures
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills
• Good in MS.Office
• Applicants with SAP system is added advantage
