Procurement Executive / Senior Executive

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• To source, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and service quality.
• To negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address supply issues to ensure smooth operations.
• To ensure timely procurement of goods and services at competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support cost control initiatives and ensure procurement activities align with budget requirements.
• Manage the full procurement cycle including requisition, quotation comparison, purchase order issuance, delivery follow-up, and invoice verification.
• Coordinate with internal departments on purchasing requirements and delivery schedules.
• Resolve purchasing-related issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and related departments to support procurement requirements.
• Maintain supplier relationships, evaluate vendor performance, and resolve supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency.
• To perform any other duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant study.
• At least 3 years of experience within Procurement / Purchasing or similar function.
• Applicant with experience in food retailing / food manufacturer / F&B is added advantage.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong negotiation and cost control skills in managing suppliers.
• Proactive, able to work independently, strong problem-solving skills, and a good team player.
• Proficient in MS.Excel and Data Analysis.
• Applicant must be willing to travel.
