Costing Executive

Location: Muar, Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Carry out costing-related tasks and create pertinent reports and analyses.
• Communicate with the Production division to make sure Bills of Materials (BOM) are correct and current.
• As necessary, update the BOM or ERP system’s standard costs.
• Examining real manufacturing costs and putting together recurrent reports that contrast standard cost with real production costs.
• Tracking changes in product costs, assisting with timely closings, and maintaining cost and inventory controls.
• On a weekly or monthly basis, provide information and thorough reports outlining the variables affecting the prices and profitability of the items.
• Cooperate closely with other Company functional areas when it comes to product costing.
• Participates in and attends as necessary frequent meetings related to costing.
• Take part in a physical inventory count.
• To guarantee adherence to company regulations and accounting standards.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accountancy or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 1 year of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
