GL Accountant

Location: Masai, Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports for both internal management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of SST, tax filings, and compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis initiatives.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and a high level of accuracy.
• Independent, proactive, and willing to learn with a positive attitude.
