Supply Chain Management (SCM) Officer

  • Salary RM3,000 - RM4,000

Location: Masai, Johor

Job Descriptions:

  • Assist the Head of Supply Chain in all inventory and purchasing operations.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and stocktakes. Report and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory levels and movements by verifying system data against physical stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, product data, part numbers, and pricing in the system.
  • Source materials, compare quotations, negotiate pricing, and recommend purchases.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, analyze procurement data, and generate related reports.
  • Expedite orders, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up with suppliers and internal users.
  • Update inbound or outbound inventory transactions to support production planning and costing.
  • Request and issue materials via AX system and Microsoft Dynamic 365, ensuring timely replenishment and optimal stock levels.
  • Actively support and participate in continuous improvement and operational efficiency projects.
  • Other duites as directed by the head of SCM from times to times.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • 1–2 years of experience in inventory analysis will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with AX system and Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage
  • Able to work independently
  • Good communication skills with other departments
