Regulatory Intelligence Analyst

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Maintain and update the Regulatory Intelligence (RI) database, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
• Collect and compile regulatory information from health authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Perform data entry, quality checks, reconciliation, and database maintenance to ensure reliable regulatory intelligence.
• Review regulatory updates and support the analysis of their potential impact on product development and regulatory strategies.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and datasets to support regulatory decision-making.
• Support regulatory submission planning by providing accurate and up-to-date regulatory intelligence.
• Assist in system enhancements, data migration, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the RI database.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve regulatory intelligence processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance regulatory intelligence tools and processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Certifications in data analytics, digital transformation, or information management are an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Intelligence, data management, data analysis, or compliance within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and the product development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Veeva Vault (RIM) or other regulated document/content management systems is an added advantage.
• Good organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
