QAQC Assistant Manager

Location: Dengkil, Selangor

About the role

This is a full-time QAQC Assistant Manager who is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes and ensuring that products meet the established standards and specifications. This role involves supervising a team of junior executives and its team, conducting quality assessments, and implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures at our client’s facility.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee QA operations and QC lab efficiency.
• Lead QA/QC team to ensure finished product quality.
• Manage non-conformances, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventive actions.
• Support internal/external audits and compliance with certifications (FSSC 22000, VHM, Halal, ISO).
• Address and resolve customer quality complaints promptly.
• Identify production risks and suggest mitigation measures.
• Conduct product quality assessments through testing methods.
• Promote quality awareness, maintain accurate quality records, and report issues.
• Support various audits and continuously improve QA processes.
• Foster teamwork and professional growth; take on additional tasks as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5-7  years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and data analysis capabilities
• Experience in leading and motivating a team of quality control personnel
• Proficient in using quality management tools and software
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
