Product Manager ( Pharmaceutical)

  • Salary RM7,000-RM9,500

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop and execute strategic brand plans for assigned products to drive market share growth, ensure sustainable business expansion, maximize return on investment (ROI), and achieve overall business and financial objectives.
  • Translate marketing strategies into actionable and effective plans, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and overall strategic direction.
  • Manage and optimize brand expenditures to ensure efficient allocation of resources while meeting defined business goals.
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate marketing initiatives against clearly defined KPIs, ensuring outcomes are aligned with business objectives and delivering measurable results.
  • Conduct post-campaign evaluations to identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions or mitigation strategies to improve future performance.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing communication and advertising plans that align with brand strategy, support business objectives, and comply with local regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in guiding and mentoring junior team members, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently, accurately, and within timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team through joint customer visits to gather market insights and assess the effectiveness of marketing materials, messaging, and campaign execution.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
  • Strong foundation in product management and marketing principles.
  • Solid commercial awareness with the ability to interpret and strategically apply technical and scientific information.
  • Excellent analytical thinking with a creative and critical approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective prioritisation skills to manage competing tasks in a dynamic business environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset, committed to meeting the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in product management and marketing within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales is an added advantage.
