Product Manager ( FMCG)

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Report directly to the Category Manager.
• Own and manage the P&L of the assigned product portfolio, driving market share growth, sales performance, profitability, and conversion across designated countries.
• Partner with the Category Manager to develop and execute strategies covering product development, pricing, marketing, communication, and overall growth plans.
• Lead consumer insight initiatives, translating data and voice-of-consumer findings into actionable strategies to drive brand growth and optimize campaigns.
• Collaborate with regional markets to conduct consumer research and leverage insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Drive product ideation and development using Agile methodology to accelerate speed-to-market.
• Support regular portfolio reviews, providing recommendations on product rationalization, repositioning, relaunch, or discontinuation of underperforming SKUs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities across key markets, providing insights and recommendations for marketing plans.
• Manage A&P budgets, ensuring effective allocation, cost control, and ROI tracking for the assigned portfolio.
• Work closely with the Export Team to support product launches and marketing initiatives in focus countries.
• Strengthen and enhance analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Marketing, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods industry.
• Proven experience in portfolio management, new product development, product lifecycle management, and go-to-market execution.
• Familiarity with SAP system is an added advantage.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrates solid business acumen with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possesses strong analytical capabilities and the ability to adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
• Self-driven, proactive, results-oriented, and a strong problem solver.
