Product Development Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Shah Alam 

Job Descriptions:

• Develop a strong technical understanding of products introduced to the market.
• Lead new product development projects assigned by the superior or based on customer requirements.
• Support the team in prototype testing, report generation, performance measurement, and delivery of innovative new products.
• Assist in organizing go-to-market activities, including digital marketing campaigns, trade fairs, and conferences to promote newly launched products in both local and overseas markets, as well as coordinate and execute workshops (e.g., JKR).
• Liaise with relevant departments to establish product plans, including defining product scope and objectives for new developments.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing related to processes, technology, materials, and product development.
• Participate in the commissioning of newly installed equipment, including the development of commissioning procedures for machinery.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work schedules to support operations during the initial phase of mass production.
• Actively contribute to reliability initiatives through root cause analysis, idea generation, and project execution.
• Recommend process and equipment improvements to enhance plant performance.
• Work closely with the Business Development Manager to expedite tasks and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
• Prepare and present monthly progress reports on project status.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any related field.
• At least 2 year and above of experience in product development in Manufacturing environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
