Network Operation Center (NOC) Manager

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee 24/7 NOC operations, monitor client systems, and implement incident management processes to meet SLAs.
• Manage and mentor NOC engineers across shifts, provide training, and set KPIs to improve team performance.
• Utilize ticketing systems for workflow and documentation while performing RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Implement and manage network monitoring tools (NMS), automation systems, and log management for performance tracking.
• Refine SOPs, enforce ITIL best practices, and ensure compliance with security frameworks.
• Act as an escalation point, coordinate with vendors, and report network performance to leadership and clients.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years in IT infrastructure/NOC with 3+ years in management.
• MSP environment experience is preferred.
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).
• Expertise in network monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, LogicMonitor).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of RMM tools (ConnectWise, NinjaRMM, Datto, Kaseya).
• Understanding of ITIL framework and SLA management.
