System Support Specialist

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Support system installation, configuration, and upgrading activities for project environments (e.g., rail systems or integrated control systems).
• Assist in preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and performance verification for deployed IT systems.
• Participate in system integration and interface testing to ensure smooth compatibility between various subsystems.
• Execute verification, testing, and commissioning processes for project IT systems, ensuring compliance with client and internal standards.
• Provide technical support to project teams during installation, testing, and handover phases.
• Maintain technical documentation for project systems, configurations, and troubleshooting records.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in system integration, IT system support, or engineering project environments.
• Experience with hardware/software troubleshooting and field-based IT support.
• Familiarity with industrial automation, control systems, or rail environments is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of networking, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) preferred.
• Able to work both in office and project site environments, sometimes under minimal supervision.
