Sales Engineer (Heavy Machinery)

  • Salary RM7000 - RM8000

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

  • Manage sales of products and services to small and medium-sized customers within an assigned territory.
  • Retain and grow business with existing customers while generating new sales opportunities.
  • Anticipate and understand customer needs, aligning them with product offerings to maximize value and profitability.
  • Pursue sales leads by visiting existing and potential customers, assessing requirements, and recommending suitable products and services.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries, negotiate pricing and delivery terms within authority, and close sales orders to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collect and share relevant business and market intelligence with product and sales management using designated systems.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans, prioritizing and scheduling activities to ensure sales goals are consistently met.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, territory sales, or customer relationship management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Experience in managing and growing accounts as well as generating new business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively in both English and the local language, in order to engage with diverse stakeholders and support seamless collaboration
