Project manager-Data Center (HVAC/Cooling System/Thermal)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Collaborate with the PMO Director to liaise with internal departments and secure the necessary resources for projects under your responsibility.

• Understand client requirements thoroughly to align project outcomes with their expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

• Represent the project team in meetings with clients to provide updates and align on goals.

• Support the planning and scheduling of project timelines to ensure successful, on-time execution.

• Assist in achieving the targeted profit margins for each project through proper planning and cost management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and coordinate closely with other departments and Vertiv divisions to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Oversee and manage on-site Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to ensure efficient progress and adherence to standards.

• Lead, guide, and support project team members to foster continuous improvement and deliver high performance.

• Ensure all installation works meet quality standards from purchase order issuance to final payment collection.

• Attend progress review meetings to gather feedback and confirm customer expectations.

• Provide timely updates to clients on the status of all ongoing projects within your scope.

• Deliver excellent service to sustain high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Contribute to the development of implementation plans and manpower scheduling, ensuring each project is completed on time and within budget.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical or a related field, with at least 5-10 years of experience, particularly in project management for data center infrastructure.

• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and practices.

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and spoken.

• Self-driven, collaborative, and highly focused on customer satisfaction.
