IT Project Coordinator

  • Salary RM 8500 to RM 10000

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

  • Participate in the development of company portfolio view.
  • Support activities that are already underway while also helping to identify, develop, implement, and carry out important initiatives.
  • Work together throughout the company to ascertain the viability of projects and to raise awareness and comprehension of the relationships between them. Participate in talks about cross-functional alignment as a facilitator.
  • Promote the use of IT tools and procedures.
  • Lead projects with notable risk and complexity while creating the plan for project execution.
  • Exercise strong project management skills while demonstrating strong business acumen, good challenging/questioning abilities, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Collect, oversee, and record project progress, finances, and other critical data for the efforts in the allocated portfolio. Continue to keep thorough project documentation.
  • Help resolve issues that have an effect on an initiative’s success or result.
  • Support the owners of initiatives in efficiently managing change and reducing risks.
  • Control project finances, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Arrange for project meetings, and formally record and disseminate the conclusions (actions) of such talks.
  • Help create and uphold corporate project management practices. Keep yourself updated with industry best practices and, as appropriate, develop tools and procedures.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource to help project managers and leaders with the implementation of project management procedures as well as any necessary adjustments or modifications.
  • Develop and preserve relationships of trust as advisors with stakeholders in the effort.
  • Craft and present presentations that are compelling.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of IT tools and processes.
  • Expertise in project and program management, including developing processes, procedures, and conducting reporting/analysis to enhance deliverables.
  • Experience with Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Distributor Management System (DMS) is a plus.
