Head of Retail Food and Beverage Expansion

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion opportunities within the retail food and beverage sector.
• Identify and evaluate potential business partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to enhance market presence and revenue streams.
• Lead negotiations and collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, landlords, and potential business partners, to secure favorable agreements and contracts.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics, informing strategic decision-making and market positioning.
• Cultivate relationships with key industry players, trade associations, and regulatory bodies to stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, operations, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and execution of business development initiatives.
• Drive the development and implementation of innovative business models, product offerings, and revenue-generating initiatives to meet growth targets.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present business plans, investment proposals, and performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or corporate development roles within the retail food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, with the ability to leverage insights to drive business growth and market expansion.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop effective solutions.
