DG Solution Specialist SCM/PLM

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Participating in workshops and meetings to comprehend business-side requirements, functional and technical scopes for requested changes, and priorities.
• Designing and developing applications using ABAP, WebDynpro, FIORI, and related technologies.
• Ensuring adherence to SAP best practices, particularly in the Data Governance area at the company.
• Applying design methodologies and toolsets, conducting development tests, and troubleshooting issues across master data management process areas.
• Recommending system solutions by evaluating SAP and other standard application offerings against custom development.
• Coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to complete application development, contributing to team meetings.
• Providing hyper care and application maintenance support for systems supported by DG Product Team(s).
• Offering optimal solutions for enhancement change requests.
• Collaborating closely with Process Champions, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects in design and implementation activities.
• Designing and conducting unit tests, supporting User Acceptance Tests.
• Assisting other team members and users of systems supported by DG SCM/PLM Product Team.
• Taking ownership of driven changes, ensuring proper lifecycle progression.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, specializing in master data maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of expertise in SAP MDG, and preferable knowledge of SAP FIORI.
• 2 years of experience in solution development and support for material and vendor data management is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, essential for collaboration within functional teams and with business partners.
• Moderate travel may be required.
