GL/RTR Analyst

Location: Mutiara Damansara, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Maintain accuracy and timeliness when processing general ledger entries, fixed assets transactions, banking transactions, and preparing financial and management reports. This includes balance sheet reconciliation and compliance with local statutory and tax (direct and indirect) regulations, following Company policies, local accounting standards, and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Company Operating Units (OpCo) Finance to understand their ongoing activities and ensure that financial statements accurately reflect all changes.
• Work with OpCo to address and clear aged balance sheet items.
• Continuously track and resolve outstanding issues, escalating them to the relevant parties as needed.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and meet monthly performance and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Take responsibility for all applicable internal controls related to Record-to-Report (RTR) processes.
• Proactively collaborate with the team lead/manager to identify, suggest, and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement within existing processes.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement projects and plans.
• Contribute to ad hoc activities or projects as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field, and/or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.)
• Minimum 4 years’ working experience with 2 years’ experience in handling full set account for Senior Analyst role
• Minimum 1 – 2 years relevant experience in accounting function for Analyst role
• Prior experience in Audit and tax is an added advantage
• Exposure to MNC working environment and Consolidated Group Accounts will be added advantage
• Experience in using ERP system
