Senior Statutory Analyst

Location: Mutiara Damansara, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Coordinate audits with auditors and departments, using external advisors for documentation.
• Coach the team on specific audit matters.
• Adhere to company values, ICFR, and TOM.
• Identify and resolve issues during audits.
• Stay updated on accounting standards like IFRS, MPERS, and MFRS.
• Collaborate with Opco to fix audit issues.
• Improve the audit process and ensure compliance with standards.
• Enhance internal controls with Group Internal Audit.
• Take responsibility for audit quality and statutory accounts.
• Stay informed about IFRS, audit requirements, and compliance programs for work transitions.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance & Accounting or related field with relevant mix of qualification and experience .
• ACCA or currently pursuing is acceptable
• Min 3-4 years of relevant experience in big 4 audit firms or midsize
• Member of MIA
• Able to communicate with various stakeholders
• Practical knowledge of audit, preparation of statutory accounts , understanding of IFRS , ability to assess impairment, cashflows, defered tax , basic consolidation, and basic understanding of tax matters
