IT Systems Support Specialist (MRP System)

Location: Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru 

Job Descriptions:

The Systems Support Specialist will assume the responsibility of diagnosing and resolving issues as they emerge, primarily concentrating on supply chain systems. This role encompasses extensive support for daily traffic and shipping operations, as well as integrated systems like MRP, receiving, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics.

• Provide technical assistance and perform troubleshooting for systems.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and operations, to identify and resolve system issues while enhancing system performance.
• Customize and configure systems, making necessary enhancements to align with specific business requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive system testing, validation, and documentation procedures to ensure system reliability and adherence to internal standards.
• Document and effectively communicate issues and their resolutions to IT teams.
• Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of solutions for common issues.
• Develop and deliver user training materials and support resources to promote system adoption and proficiency.
• Monitor system performance, recognize emerging trends, and recommend system improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain systems to drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Enterprise System Management / Software Engineering or related field
• Experienced 1-2 years in Supply Chaim or Logistics System (Such as MRP/ERP/SAP system)
• Technical Prblem Solving in System Configuration, troubleshooting and customization
• Experienced in MongoDB (NoSQL database), Database Management, Cloud AWS
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices is an added advantage
