Demand Supply Planning Specialist (MNC)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for overall planning processes
• Develop accurate demand forecasts
• Ensure the availability of accurate inventory and forecast data on defined schedules
• Review and Forecast based on actual market demand and historical sales.
• Manage sales and operations planning process to conduct demand/ supply review and portfolio management with business, regulatory, finance, and quality management
• Track Forecast Accuracy & Bias performance and conduct root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement on a periodical basis
• Manage the forecasting process and provide input into S&OP process for sound business decisions
• Analyze historical sales data and demand phasing/trend, lead root-cause-analysis initiatives, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and maintain master data in the demand planning system
• Managing the demand planning aspects of the product life cycle e.g. new products, end of life (delist), and renovation/revamp (phase-in / phase-out)
• Ensure the business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges
• Analyses & initiates suitable actions based on planning key performance indicators and participate in regular reviews of policies, processes and procedures to achieve continual improvements.
• Update key demand planning reports and tools

Job Requirements:

• MBA/Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Business Management/Data Analytics/Statistics or equivalent
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management/Demand & Supply Planning/Sales and Operations Planning process
• Fresh graduate is encourage to apply
• Applicant from FMCG/Animal Healthcare Environment is an added advantage
• Good communication skills and able to work with all level of people
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal, process oriented, detail, and analytical
• Strategic thinking ability, always seek area for improvement to create growth, improve financial performance
• Strong computer literacy(particularly in Microsoft Excel, with competency in pivot tables and macro functionality)
• ERP system is required
• Possess a positive attitude and team player
