Security Engineer (Support L2) – Lead Senior

Location: Klang, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Provide installation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation for projects and support situations.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cyber security technology.
• Take responsibility for any technical action items during the meeting and presentation, and collaborate with suppliers to remedy the resulting issue.
• Execute on-site proof of concept activities, followed by a user acceptability test.

Job Requirements:

• A candidate with a university degree or technical qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• At least three years of experience implementing and supporting various cybersecurity technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• The ability to describe, detect, and remediate cyber security threats.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A team member with good analytical abilities and a friendly approach at work.

Required Skills

• Expert-level technical hands-on experience with a variety of cyber security technologies.
• Excellent technical documentation writing skills and knowledge of client infrastructure performance and security concerns.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to detect hazards before project implementation.
• Must be familiar with the current cyber security situation.
• Capable of quickly learning new security and networking technologies.

Certifications Required

• Additional certifications such as cyber security will be an advantage.
• Preferably, CISSP certification.
• Other professional qualifications, such as CISA, CEH, and so on, would be advantageous.
