Payroll Specialist

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Opportunity to work with Fortune 500 company for in house payroll management
• As Specialist for payroll management (Malaysia & ASEAN Markets)
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Deliver and consolidate payroll data for payroll processing.
• Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery as per Payroll schedule & calendar of activities
• Ensure statutory payment are accurately, timely and in compliance with government authorities
• Work with respective stakeholders in any change request and ensure system is updated accordingly i.e. Vendor, HR, Finance, or relating to regulatory change.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for payroll activities including documenting all work practices, aligning and streamlining work processes to improve operation efficiency. Work closely with various stakeholders i.e. HR, finance, external vendors in the payroll processes to ensure smooth delivery of payroll service.
• Assist with stock equity administration and process stock related payroll transactions by ad-hoc basis
• Participate in the annual bonus calculation process
• Ensures compliance with internal and external controls and payroll related legislation
• Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Ensuring adherence to all Document Retention, Reporting and Audit requirements
• Internal Corporate Audit / External Audit coordination
• Participate in HR initiatives to drive digitization/process/program implementation and focus on continuous improvements in efficiencies.
• Update Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
• Any other tasks or projects that will be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, any field.
• At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Working location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
• Malaysia payroll management experience is essential. ASEAN market working experience is added advantage
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in house Payroll Management from multinational companies
• Detail and subject matter expert
• Passionate in Payroll career
