Software Developer (PHP)

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and maintain reliable IT business applications, ensuring system stability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Continuously update knowledge of compensation plans, incentives, and promotions to align IT systems with business needs.
• Acquire expertise in IT systems supporting commissions, genealogy, order entry, finance, accounting, and operations, while providing technical support in these areas.
• Validate monthly commission bonus runs to ensure accuracy.
• Generate, update, and run monthly reports on key business metrics, including sponsoring, business leader counts, and bonus payments.
• Provide user training and support to maximize IT system efficiency and alignment with business requirements.
• Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance of IT solutions to meet business objectives.
• Contribute ideas for enhancing IT applications while aligning with broader corporate goals.
• Respond to user inquiries and offer expert advice on system operations to optimize business processes.
• Conduct ongoing research to resolve system issues and explore potential web-based solutions.
• Manage IT tickets efficiently to ensure smooth business operations.
• Maintain high coding standards during development to ensure compliance with internal processes, including J-SOX controls.
• Assist IT support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure business continuity.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in PHP and MySQL development.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git for version control, and project management tools like Jira.
• Experience with web frameworks like Laravel is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC, agile methodologies, and best practices in software development.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining documentation for technical processes.
• Experience in providing first-level technical support when needed.
