Senior Staff Nurse (Dialysis Center)

Location: Cheras, Shamelin, Connaught, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Provide nursing care to dialysis patients using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in line with local and international standards.
• Promote and uphold infection control policies by setting a positive example and ensuring team compliance.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and medications to ensure timely reordering and prevent disruptions to operations.
• Manage nursing and medical supplies by tracking inventory, anticipating needs, placing and following up on orders, verifying deliveries, and using resources efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on management decisions and operational needs.
• Mentor trainees and junior nurses to support their professional development.
• Report and assist in investigating workplace incidents, including sharp injuries, near misses, and property damage.
• Monitor patient payments and sponsorships, maintain up-to-date records, and respond to inquiries about treatment costs and funding.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures for situations like power or water outages, floods, fires, or medical emergencies, and take appropriate action when needed
• Take over as team leader during crises such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, patient-nurse conflicts, or utility interruptions that affect dialysis treatment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Medical Assistance.
• Must be registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Certified in CPR.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional patient service abilities.
• Trustworthy and dependable.
• Takes full ownership of delivering high-quality work.
• Compassionate and empathetic in patient care.
• Open to challenges and able to remain composed during crises.
• Highly committed and physically fit to manage demanding work schedules.
