Senior Sales Executive / Business Development Executive – Indonesia Market

Location: Indonesia

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and grow new business opportunities in the Indonesia market for food and nutraceutical ingredients.
• Identify and acquire new customers, including food manufacturers, supplement manufacturers, R&D and purchasing teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, sales negotiations and follow-ups.
• Provide consultative and solution-based selling based on customer needs and applications.
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up on enquiries, quotations, samples and projects.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities in Indonesia.
• Achieve sales targets and take ownership of customer development.
• Be based in Indonesia and work in Indonesia on a long-term basis, with regular travel for customer visits.
• Work closely with and provide guidance to the existing junior salesperson.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1– 2years of B2B sales experience in food ingredients, nutraceutical ingredients, food additives, functional ingredients or related industry.
• Existing experience dealing with food manufacturers, supplement manufacturers, R&D, purchasing and business owners in Indonesia.
• Able to develop new customers independently, not only service existing accounts.
• Strong in consultative / technical selling – able to understand customer applications, ask deeper questions and recommend suitable solutions.
• Good customer relationship and follow-up skills
• Good understanding of the Indonesia food ingredient market and able to provide market/customer insights.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of sales targets and customer development.
• Comfortable travelling within Indonesia for customer visits.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
