Senior RTR Specialist (Statutory Reporting)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

Statutory Reporting

• Prepare, review, and submit statutory financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with local GAAP / IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.

Finance Projects Related to Statutory Reporting

• Participate in Global Projects and Initiatives
• Lead/ co-lead finance transformation and process improvement projects in the statutory reporting area (e.g., standardization, automation, Workiva enhancements, data quality initiatives).
• Participate in or manage cross-functional project teams involving Controlling, Tax, Treasury, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in designing, documenting, and implementing improved processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
• Contribute to system and tool enhancements (especially Workiva), including requirements gathering, testing (UAT), training, and adoption.

External Audit Support

• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors on required audit information, documents and samples.
• Respond to audit queries, follow up with internal stakeholders to gather required information.
• Track audit findings and recommendations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; professional qualification
• 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, or external audit in multinational company, including demonstrated experience in dealing with US and ex-US accounting (Pharmaceutical industry a plus)
• Experience in a supervisory position
• Experience working with external auditors, including preparation of audit deliverables and responding to audit requests.
• Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or project management within a finance function is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
