Purchasing Supervisor

Location: Port Klang

Job Descriptions:

• Purchase Order Management: Prepare and process Non-MP and MP purchase orders, obtain approvals, and coordinate with suppliers on orders and deliveries.
• Follow-up & Tracking: Monitor outstanding POs, update delivery status, and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
• Cost Control & Analysis: Conduct price comparisons, manage cost reduction initiatives, and prepare COP (Cost of Purchase) reports.
• Supplier Evaluation & Compliance: Perform monthly supplier evaluations, manage supplier audits (MBO), and ensure compliance with ISO certifications.
• Financial & Documentation Checks: Verify invoices, pricing, and purchase records; ensure accuracy between systems and documents (e.g., Opacus, DCDU).
• Inventory Support: Coordinate stock take activities, update stock data, and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Issue Resolution & Coordination: Handle supplier conflicts, follow up on issues, and maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Reporting & Administration: Prepare and submit regular reports to management and maintain proper documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field.
• Willing to work in Port Klang.
