Project Manager (Construction / Property Development)

Location: Ulu Tiram, Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage property development projects from inception through completion, with strong focus on planning, design coordination, and authority approvals.
• Oversee early-stage project development including feasibility studies, concept planning, design coordination, and overall project execution strategy.
• Coordinate with consultants (architects, engineers, planners, QS) to ensure design intent aligns with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and manage submission of drawings and documentation for approval with relevant authorities.
• Liaise with government departments and local authorities to secure approvals, permits, and compliance clearances.
• Monitor project timelines, master schedules, and key milestones to ensure planning alignment across all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify site conditions, and ensure construction works are aligned with approved plans and specifications.
• Manage design changes, technical issues, and planning-related risks with proactive resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and development requirements.
• Prepare project reports, planning updates, and progress presentations for management.
• Support project handover process including completion documentation and authority sign-offs.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Must possess Professional Engineer (PE) certification and/or Ir. (Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate).
• Minimum 5–10 years experiences in construction or property development, preferably developer-side.
• Strong experience in project planning, design coordination, and authority submission processes.
• Familiar with local authority approval processes in Johor (e.g., OSC submissions, development approvals).
• Experience liaising with government authorities, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project execution processes.
• Willing to be involved in both planning coordination and site visits when required.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion.
