Plant Controller

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Descriptions:

• The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming operational and financial data into meaningful insights, supporting informed decision-making, driving continuous improvement of manufacturing sites within the International Markets.
• Oversee monthly closing processes, ad hoc reporting/analytics, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets to drive financial performance.
• Utilize advanced reporting and forecasting tools to deliver insights and enhance existing processes.
• Support costing and inventory analysis through detailed data review, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Prepare cost accounting analyses and maintain strong internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with SOX and corporate policies.
• Lead annual standard costing updates for the site and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Act as a financial business partner to the plant managers and leadership team, providing decision support that drives financial metric improvement and profitable growth.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams across International Markets to identify savings opportunities and analyze return on investment.
• Support capital investment initiatives to ensure appropriate return on investments and alignment with strategic goals.
• Foster a culture of financial accountability and ownership throughout all levels of the organization, particularly in building a TPM Loss Reduction culture.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, Hyperion, and Blackline.
• Experience in building financial models to support decision-making.
• Proficiency in a second language is highly preferred, reflecting our global market presence
