Lead Analyst, Environmental Health & Safety

Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Ensure the company’s compliance with occupational safety and health standards, implementing OSHA-related policies and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and optimize safety programs to prevent workplace accidents.
• Conduct HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control) and lead workplace safety inspections
• Organize and conduct employee safety training to raise safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities
• Monitor updates in DOSH regulations and ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes.
• Investigate and report any workplace accidents or violations, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure the implementation of best safety practices and standards.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of HSE experience, preferably within logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Possess a valid DOSH Green Book (Registered Safety & Health Officer – SHO).
• Registered with DOSH as a Competent Assessor for Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA).
• Hold a valid CePSWaM (Certified Professional in Scheduled Waste Management) certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, able to work independently and perform under pressure.
• Good report writing, documentation, and data analysis skills.
