Head of IT Department Cum ERP Project Manager

Location: Johor Bahru

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and lead the company’s IT strategy in line with business goals
• Manage end-to-end ERP implementation from planning to post-go-live support
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure systems meet requirements
• Oversee IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, hardware) to ensure stability and performance
• Set and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices
• Plan and control the IT budget to ensure efficient use of resources
• Lead and manage the IT team, promoting a productive and collaborative environment
• Set performance goals, monitor progress, and support team development
• Manage business applications, including system updates, maintenance, and licensing
• Ensure strong cybersecurity measures are in place to protect systems and data
• Monitor and handle security incidents and ensure compliance with regulations
• Manage multiple IT and ERP projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Identify risks and resolve issues, while updating management on project progress
• Manage vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure quality delivery
• Ensure smooth IT operations and user support across the company
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Keep up with new technologies and trends to improve IT operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 10 years of IT experience
• Hands-on experience in ERP implementation (Epicor,Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity
• Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple projects
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or ERP-related are an added advantage.
