Business Analyst & Data Governance (Banking & Finance)

Location: Bandar Sunway

Job Descriptions:

• Support regulatory reporting and data quality initiatives within Financial Markets
• Perform business and gap analysis to identify compliance and data issues
• Analyze data across the end-to-end trade lifecycle to ensure regulatory alignment
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Manage stakeholders and communicate insights, findings, and recommendations
• Conduct workshops, prepare documentation, and support senior stakeholder reporting
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and data risks

Metadata Management & Control Assurance

• Manage metadata using governance tools (e.g., Informatica)
• Perform data lineage, impact analysis, and data quality monitoring
• Design and implement data controls (validation, reconciliation, profiling)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., DQMS)
• Apply data security measures including masking, encryption, and access control

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Markets, Capital Markets, or Banking environments.
• Candidate with knowledge of metadata management and data governance tools
• Good understanding of data controls and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
