Accounts Manager cum HR

Location: Johor Bahru, Johor

Job Descriptions:

Accounting & Finance

• Oversee the company’s full accounting functions, including AP, AR, General Ledger and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, payments, collections and overdue accounts.
• Ensure proper accounting records and compliance with MFRS / applicable accounting standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements, statutory reporting and financial regulations.

Human Resources

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee confirmation and termination processes.
• Handle payroll administration, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other statutory contributions.
• Manage employee benefits, leave, attendance and personnel records.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances and conflict resolution.
• Support performance management, training and employee development.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular Finance & HR reports for management review.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance and HR.
• Strong experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Candidates with manufacturing industry experience are highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience in payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
• Good understanding of Malaysian employment legislation and HR practices.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple functions effectively.
