Account Specialist

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Achieve and exceed revenue and gross margin targets for the assigned region.
• Implement commercial processes to effectively manage sales forecasts and prospect pipelines.
• Maintain clear an effective communication with commercial teams and management.
• Develop commercial strategies to position Biomonitoring products successfully within the microbiological testing market.
• Build and strengthen key customer relationships to drive revenue growth in the region.
• Identify and foster partnerships with key customers to maximize opportunities, including implementing key customer agreements.
• Lead negotiations for major contracts.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, including pricing, revenue, and gross margin, ensuring optimal outcomes through solution selling and effective product positioning.
• Collaborate with operations and customers to address supply chain issues and minimize potential disruptions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
• 1-3 years of experience in the life sciences or microbiology industry.
• Fresh graduate who are interested in sales are welcome to apply.
• Preferred experience in managing food testing or industrial microbiology.
• Familiarity with sales management tools such as Salesforce and related processes.
• Knowledge of competitor analysis, product positioning, pricing strategies, and other sales tactics.
• Proven expertise in Sales Excellence processes, including solution selling, key account agreements, and pricing strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and execute effectively.
