Application Engineer (Industrial Water Solutions)

Location: Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Provide routine technical service support to Sales Representatives across strategic customer accounts
• Assist in plant surveys for prospective customers and support new application start-ups
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts
• Deliver technical troubleshooting support, identify customer pain points, and provide effective solutions
• Conduct system analysis, interpret data, and prepare technical recommendations to improve operational efficiency
• Perform sample testing, light maintenance, chemical ordering, inventory management, and service reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and incident reporting procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, water treatment, or specialty chemical industry is an advantage
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial systems (boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Possess a valid driving license and good driving record
• Proactive, independent, and customer-oriented with a strong business mindset
