Senior GL (Fixed Assets)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Deliver consistent, high-quality accounting services to our global internal customers.
• Execute end-to-end R2R processes for Capital & Fixed Assets, in compliance with global and local policies.
• Ensure all periodic reporting is completed accurately and by the specified deadlines.
• Analyze accounting entries, and with guidance, identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations per Global Policy, working with relevant teams to clear any open items promptly.
• Actively support system enhancements and process improvement projects, including updating process documentation (SOPs).
• Foster effective collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOX / Financial Controls Framework (FCF) requirements.
• Provide necessary support for internal and statutory audits.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with specific expertise in Fixed Assets accounting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or a similar major ERP system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage on an initial 1-year contract.
• (Preferred) Experience working within a shared service center for a global or large-scale organization.
