AP & AR Manager (SSC)

Location: Kuala Lumpur  (Hybrid)

Job Descriptions:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable teams virtually across multiple markets, delivering end-to-end P2P services and proactively providing solutions to business users.
• Oversee the external vendor managing master data operations, acting as a bridge between business users and the vendor to ensure smooth and accurate data management. Handle escalations promptly and monitor vendor performance to maintain high standards.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through cluster initiatives, process automation, and adoption of industry best practices. Championing new automation and process improvements to enhance productivity across markets.
• Provide analysis of process performance and identify opportunities for further analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, legal/tax requirements, and company policies across all covered markets.
• Oversee governance of KPI and KPI reporting requirements.
• Support regional and global projects, motivating the team to actively participate and contribute to project success.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles, working in a Shared Service environment and/or with master data management is an advantage.
• Must have experience in supervising staff within a multicultural, international finance environment.
• Proven track record managing finance operations and delivering services in alignment with KPIs and SLAs.
• Strong operational expertise in procure-to-pay, travel and entertainment processes, with an understanding of market-specific requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading or participating in regional finance projects.
