Senior Executive – Utilities & Wastewater Treatment

Location: Tebrau , Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee and manage daily operations and plant utilities to minimize downtime.
• Plan, assign, and monitor tasks; evaluate team performance and address gaps.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, chemicals, and refrigerants.
• Implement and track preventive maintenance for systems including: air compressors, boilers, chimneys, refrigerant, natural gas/diesel, and water/wastewater (advantage).
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment, and SAP updates.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance and maintenance reports.
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and hazard reporting.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
• Continuously improve preventive maintenance to boost reliability

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in plant utilities and/or wastewater treatment operations.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system operations.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance systems is preferred.
• CePIETSO-P certification (Certified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems – Physical Chemical Process) is an advantage.
• Proven leadership, strong reporting skills, and effective problem-solving ability.
