Senior Proposal Engineer

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage high-value tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
• Supervise and guide junior staff in proposal-related tasks.
• Review and coordinate proposals for accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
• Analyze and validate tender costing to ensure competitiveness; provide feedback to BDM.
• Coordinate contract and terms & conditions reviews with the legal team to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
• Manage submissions on client e-procurement platforms
• Collaborate with BDM and internal teams to align proposals with business strategy.
• Ensure proposal quality and suggest improvements to streamline processes.
• Stay updated on company products and market trends to support proposal accuracy.
• Organize and submit all tender documents per client and internal requirements.

Job Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical and commercial proposals, ideally in rotating equipment or industrial services.
• Oil and Gas Industry, oil chemical, compressor, EPC background is preferred.
• Strong background in proposal engineering, tender submissions, and costing review.
• Solid knowledge of pricing strategies and cost analysis.
• Familiar with contract review and compliance processes.
• Proficient in e-procurement systems (e.g., SMART/SUS) and digital tender tools.
• MALAYSIAN Only.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
