Product Specialist (Laboratory Equipment)

Location: Molek, Johor Bahru

Job Descriptions:

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales pipelines and CRM records
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through client research and targeted sales outreach
• Build strong relationships with customers to understand and address both technical and commercial needs
• Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives, lead generation activities, and follow-up processes
• Deliver clear, value-focused presentations of products and technical solutions to potential and existing clients
• Oversee project pipelines and act as a key technical advisor throughout the sales process
• Communicate industry compliance standards and apply market knowledge to position solutions effectively
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to present tailored technical proposals and value propositions
• Represent the organization at professional events including conferences, seminars, and trade exhibitions
• Provide product training and technical support to customer teams to ensure informed usage
• Lead commercial negotiations to reach mutually beneficial agreements
• Evaluate customer operations to propose cost-effective improvements and technical enhancements
• Prepare accurate quotations by interpreting customer-provided technical documentation
• Highlight return on investment and efficiency benefits to secure customer buy-in
• Keep thorough records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system to ensure seamless customer experience

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• Familiarity with control and instrumentation systems, including sensors and transmitters
• Understanding of data communication protocols such as Fieldbus, TCP/IP, and both analog and digital output signals
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical sales environment
• Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative
• Solid grasp of sales and distribution processes, with moderate project management capabilities
• Open to travel across Malaysia as required
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
