Workshop Operations Manager

Location: Gelang Patah

Job Descriptions:

• Oversees daily operations of the machine shop.
• Manages daily workshop production, monitoring changes and setting targets.
• Manages workshop sample supplies, ensuring proper storage and record keeping.
• Creates a comprehensive plan for the machine tool department.
• Manages production change costs and expenses to preserve profit and loss.
• Ensures safety, productivity, and proper factory housekeeping.
• Implements improvement initiatives for existing work processes.
• Creates and manages creative SOPs.
• Ensures fairness, competency, and compliance to laboratory management standards.
• Manages and guides direct subordinates.
• Monitors manufacturing quality and costs to ensure optimal productivity.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design.
• At least 3 years of experience in workshop operation management and machine operation.
• Has leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in CNC milling, CNC Lathe & Surface Grinding is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
