Assistant Manager-Product Development ( Medical Consumable & Medical Devices)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Conduct market research in collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify trends, competitor products, and opportunities within the medical device industry.
• Gather insights from end users in clinical settings through surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions to conduct user needs assessments.
• Analyze users’ needs, pain points, and preferences to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team to prioritize features and improvements that align with user needs and company objectives.
• Assist in the development of functional prototypes for user testing and validation purposes.
• Collect user feedback on prototypes and suggest further improvements based on user input.
• Support the launch of new products in clinical settings and monitor their performance in the market post-launch.
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement through regular follow-ups with end users.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical teams, and other key stakeholders involved in product introductions.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by superiors to contribute to project success

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, biomedical engineering, or healthcare management.
• Proven experience in market research, preferably within the medical device industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and end users.
• Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights to drive decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
