Project Engineer (Water Treatment)

Location: Penang

Job Descriptions:

Project Planning and Management:

• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Responsible for designing and constructing water treatment system, and ensure smooth project execution.

Design and Engineering:

• Conducting site assessments to determine the most suitable wastewater treatment solutions.
• Designing wastewater treatment systems and processes based on regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and client needs.
• Performing calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency.

Procurement and Vendor Management:

• Identifying and procuring equipment, materials, and services required for wastewater treatment projects.
• Managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.

Construction Oversight

• Supervising construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
• Resolving any construction-related issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.

Testing and Commissioning:

• Conducting tests and inspections to verify the functionality and performance of wastewater treatment systems.
• Overseeing the commissioning process to ensure that systems are installed and operated correctly.

Job Requirements:

• Min 2 years experience in project management.
• Basic knowledge on electrical & Autocad.
• Willing to travel around Malaysia when needed.
• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics.
