HVAC Service Engineer (Manufacturing/Construction Industry)

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• To based in construction site (both greenfield and brownfield projects) and provide support in HVAC design, commissioning, and operations of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system.
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of thermal management performance within data centers, focusing on critical aspects such as hot spot mitigation, heat exchange efficiency, and airflow management.
• Take responsibility for the management and oversight of various HVAC equipment, including Fan Walls, Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH), Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC), chillers, pumps, chilled water valves, cooling towers, thermal energy storage systems, Computer Precision Air Handling Units (CPOS), ventilation fans, and Packaged Air Handling Units (PAHU), among others.
• To perform cooling capacity, airflow velocity, and various HVAC calculation.
• To perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, schematic diagrams, and calculations.
• Analyze for 2D/3D and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
• Liaising with operations teams, engineers, contractors, original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and consultants for the HVAC project.
• Prepare reports on thermal management performance and conduct failure analysis assessments.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years and above of working experience in maintenance of HVAC equipment and project management/testing & commissioning in HVAC construction industry or HVAC data center environments,
• Knowledge in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, power distribution equipment, Chillers, Fire detection and suppression systems, and building monitoring systems.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to customer site (Johor Kulai and Kual Lumpur).
