Head of Finance cum HR

  • Salary RM14,000 - RM18,000

Location: Meru, Klang

Job Descriptions:

Finance:

  • Ensure timely financial reporting to management, holding company, shareholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor credit control and collection from customers.
  • Manage supplier relationships to prevent delays.
  • Drive cost reduction and production efficiency (2% cost reduction target annually).
  • Manage stock aging to keep obsolescence below 1% of closing stocks.
  • Negotiate and control banking and financing facilities.
  • Coordinate business planning and budgeting efforts.
  • Analyze capital expenditures, financial statements, and cash flow.
  • Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage assets and liabilities.
  • Oversee risk management and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Advise on corporate investments and viability.

Human Resources:

  • Lead and motivate the HR team.
  • Manage staffing, compensation, and benefits.
  • Formulate and implement HR strategies and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Promote health and safety.
  • Handle grievances and discipline.
  • Support department heads in productivity improvement.
  • Manage training and development.
  • Prepare HR reports.
  • Maintain positive employee relations.
  • Manage industrial relations with union members.
  • Handle collective bargaining and agreements.
  • Manage work permits and contracts for employees.
  • Liaison with government departments on HR matters.
  • Manage group security.

Administration:

  • Manage corporate office and facilities.
  • Oversee communications and equipment.
  • Manage licenses for manufacturing and operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, MICPA, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Membership in MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) and MIHRM (Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management).
  • Auditing background is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management roles in finance and HR, particularly in manufacturing.
  • Experience in a unionized environment and managing collective agreement negotiations is required.
  • Strong industrial relations (IR) background is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage 900 employees.
