Job Descriptions:
- Hiring Strategy: Collaborate with managers to understand hiring needs for manufacturing roles.
- Job Descriptions: Create clear job descriptions for various positions in the manufacturing department.
- Sourcing: Use job boards, social media, and networks to find potential candidates.
- Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial interviews to assess fit.
- Interviews: Schedule and coordinate interviews with relevant teams.
- Assessment: Evaluate candidates’ technical skills and suitability.
- Offer Process: Extend job offers and negotiate terms.
- Onboarding: Help new hires transition smoothly into their roles.
- Reporting: Track metrics and present hiring data to management.
- Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices follow industry regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is often preferred. Some positions may require a master’s degree or relevant certifications.
- Experience: Typically, 2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment is desired. Experience in recruiting for specific industries or roles, such as manufacturing, can be an advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the manufacturing industry, including its roles, skills, and trends, can help you understand the specific requirements of the positions you’re recruiting for.
- Recruitment Skills: Proficiency in sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates’ skills and cultural fit.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate job offers, compensation packages, and other terms with candidates.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, social media, and other recruitment tools.
